got home at 5pm tonight, my gf gets home at 5.10pm, asks what ive done to the car, i said nothing...........

Turns out in the space between me getting home and her getting home, some bastard has unscrewed her front number plate and done the off!

Another £25 ive got to spend on plates now! Going to be getting some of those anti theft screws tomorrow now, as well as new plates!

My rant for the day! Im off for some dinner.

Is it a private or funny plate, if it's not somebody will probably be away to rob a bank so i'd do as ed says.

Gutted mate, that's the annoying part with Vaux's, they don't even have covers on the screws.

I'm guessing that £25 is for a pair of plates, I paid about that much with No1 Show Plates.

As everyone else says, tell the Police asap and catch the thieving laddy!

They will be petrol jacking pikey bastards.

I used to knob a bird who knew some people that used to do it in a Nova SR (almost 10 years ago) and the daft cunts got busted because they left the sodding for sale sign in the car when they did it.

Daft cunts.

yeah informed the poilce as soon as we noticed! got given the good old crime number! woo! and a tag has been put on the plate incase it is used for theft of petrol, speeding etc!

Last time i went to halfrauds it was £25 for a set of plates think i mite go to a motorfactors then if its only around £8 a shot!

I feel myself looking at every cars number plate now, especially when i drive past a petrol station

I also feel the urge to lob a fire extinguisher through their windscreen and make them pay for everyones fuel at the petrol station (thats if i caught them there, but highly unlikely)

meh

yeah one of my exgfs former blokes used to do this in his saxo, but would nick plates off older cars instead of similar cars. he got caught in the end, and got a slap on the wrist
