Had a quick look through the next 3 pages and couldnt find a post about it specifically so I thought i'd start one.

Anyone else from here go?

Well, firstly it was fucking legendary this year.

Fave acts from the 3 days:

Friday: Kings Of Leon
Saturday: Massive Attack
Sunday: The Verve.

Holy shit man, i'm so glad I chose to see the acts I did coz I was bewildered by the whole performances.

Absolutely outstanding festival, that was my 3rd time, there will be more.

Other good acts I caught were: Candi Staton, Neil Diamond, Fun Loving Criminals.

The dogshit awards go to: - Kate Nash, Amy Winehouse.

She was rubbish, couldnt hold a note either.

The Verve sooooo have the class they had when I saw em at Glasto 1993 on video.

Kings Of Leon were just tight as fuck and really giving it some welly.

I've always loved The Verve since my dad bought me 'Storm In Heaven' when it came out. Ashcroft was every bit the frontman that Liam Gal. is............I'd never seen 'em live and was soooo gutted to my core when they spilt up, best thing thats happened is them getting back together.

We have a major dillema between the Verve and The Chemical Bros next Friday

I have always wanted to see The Verve but the show the Chemicals put on at festivals looks electric!

I'll always go and see the act i've not seen before. I sacrificed Groove Armada for The Verve coz i've seen Groove Armada before, I made the right choice.

Chemical Bros. are good but The Verve are reinvented and stronger than before.

From Glasto some of the verve looked good, they were more chilled though, Friday night we'll be looking for something to pump us up for the weekend, like the chems.

The Verve were pumping!!! Apart from the obvious like History (which by the way was amazing!) and Bitter Sweet Symphony, the rest of the set was wicked! Rolling People nearly knocked my face off!

Band clashes are rubbish

I could sing every word to every Verve song but then i could dance like a fanny to every Chemicals song, we're going round in circles i reckon we'll end up going to whoever we're closest to tbh

I thought he was good - I wouldnt buy anything by him but he has his place in history and i'm glad I saw him.

Saw James Brown there, then he died and i'm glad I saw him in his glory.

I watched massive attack on the TV they did there last tour set from last year. Awesome set and when they play live the intensity of the music is stunning. How did it sound at Glasto for massive attack? Was the bass nice and loud, so it feels like its washing over you?

Massive Attack are still making music like no one else on the planet, awesome band! Would love to have seen the Verve, and from what I saw on the TV KOL were great as you say.

Although I am not a fan of the music I thought The Gossip where very entertaining as well, did you see them?

Massive attacks set was out of this world, when they did Angel, Teardrop and Unfinished Sympathy my heart was in my mouth! They fired green lasers across the sky that went from horizon to horizon, my jaw was on the floor at this point.

Fun Loving Crims were playing on the Jazz World Stage yeah, they were loud as fuck and again, just brilliant.

I didnt watch The Gossip.
