Anyone a member?

Ive applied but have to wait 2 months before I can join due to some legislation on women joining force protection which is the trade I want to do

Already had a call from a lovely man from RAF Marham I cant wait

Id love to hear anyones experiences and stuff

age 18 to 50
uk citizen
commit to 1 weekend a month (27 days per year)

plus annual fitness test!!

I'd be quite interested in doing this myself, I had thought about joining the RAF but a bit dubious about leaving my job to go and do it... might look into this.

I'm in the reserves. It was mandatory when i left that i had 12 years reserve service to serve. never had to do anything though

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I want to be based at Marham as its closest and its either gunners or force protection trade there so il be doing FP

fp is shit. raf police are wankers. if you ask everyone you meet how many arrests they have m,ade as a police man, and they will all tell you zero lol. and if your joining just to get your freak on.. stay away from raf reg..

I was in RAF reserves, regiment gunner. Was awesome, met great people, got to play with guns and grenades, good times! Wouldn't go for any other positions, regiment gunner is the most action packed. If you do join, just a word of warning, you can and probably will be called up to serve, and two of my mates from my regiment have been killed in iraq.....so its not all fun and games.
