or im sure you can just pay for the details off the dvla.

I would have thought it to be highly illegal, only police & DVLA possibly insurance should have access to that sort of info.

My uncle was going on about this a while back, he is a copper and used to be able to run whatever plates they wanted through the system, said now though they can get checked on and need to give genuine reasons!

Yeah thats why I cant do it at work, need to log everything I check now
