well just after a bit of advise hopefully from people that have been in my situation etc

yesterday i finished my two years at college, completed a2 level business studies and aplied ICT and if ime honest i hated both subjects with a passion. ime far more interested in working with my hands and thus ime interested in getting an apprenticeship/job to do with car body work as in prep + spraying etc

one thing i have found is that from my part time job is that ime very good with customers so i dont know what to do, my dad rekons body work is a no go area anymore but its something i love to do and both parents say i should be looking for more of an office job but i know it will pay more but i wont enjoy it

soooo anyone any tips ?

anyone actualy work in a bodyshop? whats it like etc

id possibly go with body work not being that good financially unless you get in a really good/big body shop.

office jobs are ok (im in one) and i wouldnt say i love it as id do it for free but i dont like it some times.

if you do go down the office job route you could always offer to work at a local body shop like at the weekends to pick it up

I'm mostly office bound and it's doing my swede in.
I'd love to be a tree surgeon and wish i'd not just got in a trade straight from school, but can't make the move now with mortgage commitments
