all the people with speedlines what size of tyre are you using? is 205/40/16 a suitable tyre choice for a corsa b that lowered arround 60ish

205 Far to wide id imagine, most ppl are either 195/40/16 or 195/45/16

195/45/16 fine on mine and it is LOW

195/45, 45 is low enough especially for going over the forth road bridge! my radio doesnt work for the mile or so am on it

in what way?


194/45's are the best, 205's are for a 7x16 wheels really, speedlines are 6.5 wide, i have falkens on mine that have quite a small mould on the tread, if you got for sumthin like rainsports they have a bigger mould and make the wheels look smaller and there are more chances of scrubbing

the wheels im using are 16" astra coupe rims, so looking for the ideal size to both fit the car and offer the best benifits as far as traction goes

i had just heard stories of scrubbing with some 195's

i'd try to avoid 40 profiles, i learnt the hard way and buckled my front rims in pot holes etc . i have a 2.0 up front lowered 60mm on coilovers

40's look the best for sure.
Less sidewall-give around corners/roundabouts too
Much more expensive though
