Hi guys ,
Just about to do my c20let corsa conversion, just want to know if anyone has got any sound clips as i am having a stright through system with only a back box (no cat, or centre box) and want to know what it will sound like !!! as i dont want it to be too loud

Thats what mine is mate, 3" straight through with a 3" peel out tail pipe.. It sounds fooking awesome but ive got no sound clips mate.. Mine is stripped out so its quite loud but does'nt take the piss... If you have interia you'll be sound for an every day'er.

And also what happens come MOT time with emissions, if it doesnt need a CAT how does it pass?

mines pretty loud, roars on boost..
ill do a video of tick over and on boost for you.
mine pops and bangs when the engine brakes for you and when you are on full throttle and change gear

Here you go mate, Both Corsa's in my Channel have straight through centre sections with just a small backbox. The Van is a 2.0 16v T and mine is the 2.0 8v T

Be warned though, if you plan on going on track, the Van was recorded at 106db! at 4000rpm. Nothing a bung in the exhaust didn't sort dropping it to a mear 98db

My old c20let corsa ran a straight through with just a back box. Wasnt loud at all unless on full throttle. straight through exhausts are quieter on turbocharged cars than n/a cars.

mine is prettymuch a straight through 3" system with backbox and got 105.7 db static at 4500 rpm .. i think its bloody loud but it does sound well on song
