I have a Corsa LS which has had a Nova Gte engine fitted, and is down as a 1.6 on the log book.....but contacted Norich Union about insurance.....and they said its a Gsi 16v
What should i do?

Ring up dvla and check the engine numbers are the same.

Sure there not trying to insure it as a Corsa GSi if youve told them its a 1.6?

i gave them the number plate......the conversion has all been sorted through dvla....but norich union said it's a GSI, on the log book it says Corsa Ls, 1598cc

Try an online quote yourself with churchill or directline. You can put the reg plate in that

Tell the insurance it's the 8v GSi out of a Nova, and to ring dvla to confirm.

i'ts the old type 1.6 engine......the carb type......what is that?

it's not the injection.....could it be GTE engine? on the logbook it says C16S.........then some numbers
