basicaly im going loopy at work, all i get is clutches, and gearbox rebuilds, i crushed my hand yesterday and pulled the nail off my lil finger, and now on the same pissing car i've sliced my knuckle on my left hand and taken a bit of skin off my right hand, broken a big old multi plug and banged my head on the ramp.... So im getting a bit pissed off, anyone got any ideas how to calm down? Im on lunch atm and am trying to chill.

i had a proper stress yesterday.. im in parts and ive been covering for like the last month for people having time off with it being summer.. last two weeks im serving workshop parts, last week i coped fine.
This week, i couldnt sleep very well sunday night worrying about work, woman and money. got to sleep at 3am and was in work at 8am so was in a right mood all day
Then yesterday i was in a good mood but just couldnt get everything done so was proper stressing and then a mechanic asked for rear cylinders... now theres two different makes and he said he couldnt tell so i was like c'mon your the Tech.. your meant to know.. this point another one buts in and Starts shouting.. i cant really handle shouting very well.. and that was it i just broke down in work.. embarrassing when i work with 14 big Mechanics..
Even worse everyone was being dead nice after
and i didnt go in today and my boss rang and said if i need today off to sort myself then thats fine

Been there myself mate.
Last year I did the ordering and dispatch throughout Europe and the UAE for over 5 million pounds worth of goods.
People expect so much, but theres only so much I can do on my own. I ended up calling a meeting and put the MD and sales manager straight.

i usually go for a brew and a smoke outside. i work on a busyish road so i usually just sit and watch the traffic go by. tend to come back feeling loads better.
its shit being stressed at work. you need to clear your head or you'll end up getting the simplest things wrong.

Not a lot i can do at work if i'm stressed, its an easy atmosphere, meaning what would normally chill people out i.e a coffee or tea, chocolate bar or whatever i have anyway. Sometimes just run errands over to other companies, pick up parts or whatever and rack the miles up. Other times its a walk to the pub and a pub lunch

If i'm having a bad day, i just keep my self to my self as much as possible. I still manage to put on a professional face even if i'm very pissed off.
Then, when i get home, i write all my troubles down in my diary Works very well because i can me 100% truthful

Stand on the spot, spin round in circles, and scream religous stuff. They usually send me home. It's great.

When I was on the shop floor I'd either read a paper or text a mate.
Now I'm in an office I generally go for a walk around the nearby shopping park with my mate.
