Im gonna have a crack at DIY depos this week, but my headlights are valeo ones not depo

Where would i get the depo ones from
Any help appreciated

na you can only use depo lights.hard to get hold of though

My mates cracking on with some Valeo's this week. Heat gun + Nitromose (sp) aswell) if they dont play nice...

yeh but 50quid a pair then postage to us ontop then the hassle of splitting them and spraying the inside bit. easier to buy them already done imo

He's applying it very carefully. He's used it before and knows what he's doing.


All will be revieled and yes, Andy... I'll prove you wrong that you can use Nitromose and therefore for everybody else, tint / DIY Depo Valeos

Not if he's applying it only to the adehsive thats bonding the lights to the plastic housing

the only problem with that is the glue is kind of under the plastic. imo the the easiest way to tint the valeo lights might be to buy another cheap set,(about £15-20) from local scrappy. then just carefully smash the glass,removing every last bit,then tint the inside bit, then take your old lights and remove the glass safefly by melting the old plastic and glue, the nitromores might actually work for that. then bond the glass onto the lights your removed the glass from without any melting/butchering of plastic. im going to actually give this a try soon as ive already got a set of lights with broken glass after trying to do it the traditional way .

It wouldn't do anything to plastic, even if you put it in a bucket full of the stuff.
