Me and the Mrs are thinking of having a long weekend away down south within the next couple of months, does anyone have any good recommendations? (We were thinking Bournemouth area) Don't mind whether it's a B&B or Hotel doesn't have to be 5 Star, just need a nice break

Just got back from there and it's one of the nicest places in England. Ilfracombe is lovely too.
North Devon FTW.

I stayed in the Manchester Hotel in Bournemouth.
Not too bad price wise £35 a night, i'd probably get somewhere a bit nicer if I was taking the missus though

Ummm, we are just looking for a nice quiet weekend away - preferably near a town/city and the coast (don't want to be in the middle of no-where!)
In terms of travel, I think it takes about an hour & half to get down to the coast from where I live (not too long) but don't really want to go any further than that! (2hr Journey max)
