It's not really dependent on where you are going. Blanket wise.

Rather which Airline you are flying with, as it's their own policies re weight.

Got back from Turkey 2 weeks ago and got stung big time by the charges. Flying out to Turkey it's 20kg but coming back it's reduced to 15kg. They're currently charging about £7 for every kg over. Found out once we were back in Manchester that apparently Dalaman are currently being investigated for 'fixing' the scales at the check in desks..... TUT TUT

Great, that's brilliant to know. Not only have I got to take two weeks worth of clothes, I have to make that under 15KG. Fucking marvelous. Along witht he robbing cunts wanting a tenner to get in the country in the first place.

You'd be supprised how quickly it all adds up.

The weight limit for Ryanair is 15kg and my bag weighs about 5kg empty so with minimal stuff I was over every time I flew over the winter

Yep.

I have been to Turkey 6 times now. Well worth the £10 visa. Everything is dirt cheap. We ate out in a traditional turkish restaurant (away from the tourist area) and for a meal for 4...all drinks...3 course we paid £22.

Great value for money!

Last time I went with FirstChoice it was 15kg but you could pay a supplement to be able to take 20kg.

I paid it...was about a £10.

Don't you worry about the dirty, sweaty turkish bloke who doesnt know what health and safety is cooking your meal after not having a wash for 3 days? I'd rather pay more to be happy that my meal was cooked properly.

GFs family talk about being sick and having the shits, they just think its acceptable for them to just hand you this shit food, because its fucking cheap?
