Apache attack helicopters have fired the thermobaric weapons against fighters in buildings and caves, to create a pressure wave which sucks the air out of victims, shreds their internal organs and crushes their bodies.
thats not more brutal?

not any more brutal than a gun shot wound to your eye ball or something though is it
even a normal missile would probably burn the victim alive, is that not brutal?

having the air sucked out of you, your internal organds shreded and your body crushed imo would be more painfull than a gunwound of being burnt.

it says they die of asphyxiation before that happens. so in theory, they wouldn't feel it.
they'd only feel the torture of being suffocated.

To be honest I don't think you'd know much about either of them.
Let's not forget that a lot of these people would happily detonate themselves on a packed commuter train, is that not more brutal than anything?

I see nothing wrong with using weapons to win a war.
No form of exterminating a human bieng is "nice"
I would like them to use thermobaric SP weapons on amnesty international themselves tbh

To be fair ed its written to sound more dramatic than it is, you will die instatly from the intial explosion which isnt the exothermic part. Thats the secondary but which will suck the air out etc.
Good vid on youtube ill find it hang on...

This is the same way conventional warheads kill, not from the heat but the shockwave, which crushes people. The difference is a normal explosive wave can be absorbed and deflected by a cave system so the people deep inside will survive.
Essentially these weapons simulate an effect whereby the explosive charge is detonated at the deepest point of the cave, blasting all the air out into the open.

Ah right, So the rest of it sucking you off is just for show off purposes cos your dead anyway?
Like the colorful part of a firework.

I dunno about anyone else but I think that's fucking cool
Obviously not if you're on the receiving end but the technology behind sounds impressive

It's the same concept they they use to put out oil rig fires, drop a barrel of high explosives in there, it explodes, deprives the fire of all the oxygen and it goes out instantly.

so should you obviously.
The cloud of burning aluminium powder means victims often die from asphyxiation before the pressure shreds their organs.
so if you die of suffocation before that happens, why would it be brutal? it just means theres loads of mess everywhere but that's just the same if a normal bomb hits it's target.
