tis true. Remember back then the saxo was the new kid on the block, people had been fiddling with corsas for a while so it was very one-sided. I think Ian had a big hand in organising it, cant remember what magazine it was in though. There is some pics floating about somewhere.

Daimo masterminded it. Great day. There were a few fast VTSs but more Corsas with engine conversions so we won on paper. I think Dave (username Lucky B) took the 0-60 and top speed figures with a sub 5 and 146 ish. The Saxos were not on that pace.

Saxo's are far more advanced in terms of modifications now, but will only come close IF it is done at a track and not a straight line.

disagree totally, cant see many saxo's beeing in the 11's, but loads more track orientated ones

Is there a lot of 1.6 corsas in the 11's? I don't actually know the answer to that.

I would say that, and if it's track not straight line, it would be very close as it'll depend how well they are set up on the day.

no, but then theres alot of n/a 2.0 corsa, and quite a few turbo/supercharged saxo's
