im getting a set of tyres this week and im still unsure on what to pick, im after good grip but not if the tyres are going to only last 1000 miles

I've never used the other 2 but I've got F1's on the front of mine atm and I used to have Yoko A539's, the Yoko's were alright in the dry but a bit shit in the wet, the F1's are better allround dry and wet

Yep they're shit, that's what I've got atm, F1's on the front, A539s on the back. I've had the A539s on the back for about 2 years now too they just don't seem to be wearing down, yet I've been through 2 sets on the front in that time

rear tyres always take longer to wear out, they don't have to turn or wheelspin on a front wheel drive car

I know that but my rears have still probably got another couple of years on em I've been through 2 sets in 2 years on the front, and the rears look like they'll easily manage 4 years. I want F1's all round but I don't wanna put the Yoko's on the front to wear em quicker cos they're shit They don't seem to bad on the back tho tbh, feels like a decent setup actually they just don't like heavy braking, they just lock up and try to overtake the fronts

all those tyres wear quicker or unevenly apart from the f1's, the f1 tyre is the best tyre to have all round
