They shouldnt be able to do that at all Just say your car is lowered and you didnt want to damage it or you are a new driver and getting used to the roads

What?

Did they actually do anything? Ticket? or was it just one of the many pathetic excuses they'll use cos they don't wanna say, "it's late and you're driving a Corsa, so there's probably something not right with your docs"

I wouldn't worry about it then, you get it every so often, I know Fro-dizzle had a few months where he was being pulled up a few times a month so ended up putting in a complaint for harassment but most people'll get pulled a few times, I've been pulled 5 times now, 2 fair do's I'd actually done something wrong, another 1 was a drink drive spot check, I'm perfectly happy to be pulled in for that, I know I've not been drinking but they don't so good on em for checking. The other 2 have just been spot checks, checking all my details etc, just had to take my docs in, again not too bothered about that with the amount of uninsured, untaxed, no mot cars out there

Exactly Scotty, I'd rather get pulled up every so often and have 5 mins of my time spent giving the police my details then never be pulled up and end up getting hit by an uninsured driver and having to pay out to get my car sorted

i've been pulled over by police a few times. most just want a chat and just to make sure the car is yours.

i wouldnt worry about it mate, probably just checking to see if it was all legal, used to get this all the time coming home late at night, ended up being the same police who just checked to see who the driver was then on my way again
