If its stupidly slow then no, its just going to cause accidents. Was on the expressway earlier and some OAP doing 40 in a 70 was causing havoc and alot of people having to slam on

There was a thread about this the other day, 40 is the minimum on motorways and as long as you tell the local police about it they'll be alright with it because it's a peaceful protest and they have to allow it.

aye just think its a bit dangerous as I found out today But i suppose if you think about it, it would only be a small risk because a tailback would start pretty quickly and you never really see smashes etc when motorways come to a standstill due to accidents

Best way to get the governments attention is to park up outside your local MP's house....blocking the drive & claim you've run out of petrol & cant afford any more sinse its went up.......that would be funny, 300 cars outside the MP's home.

Also whats the deal with peeping the horn???
iirc your ok to use it between certain hours to warn people of your preasence if you pose a danger...or something.
So theres 300 cars parked outside the MP's house for Falkirk East.....peeping in sync to 'always look on the bright side of life'..................just to warn eachother the've run out of fuel.
Might work............might get an asbo.................either way it would be funny!!

Do it every Sunday afternoon on their day off. Its sure to achieve something.
If they get pissed off we can all wave our petrol cans at them & ask if they've got a few litres to help out a voter.

Dont alot of MP's agree with lowering fuel prices though? Therefore it would be pointless unless certain MP's were targeted?

Their the only ones that can push a drop in fuel duty through parliment.............surely tackling the voice of the public is better than pissing the working public off by driving along the M6 doing 40mph
