how much do you think it would cost to get my car re lacquerd at a bodyshop??

You cant just relacquar over old paint.
Why do you want it "relacquaring"?

I would love to see the kind of job done by a bodyshop who would simply re-laquer of old paint.

hmm would be odd to do it but it can be done. would look at about £400ish i would do that kind of thing.

But you wouldn't be able to do anything to the dents, chips or little patches of rust on the car?

no which is why i say it would be odd but it can be done, dont see why you would as can be polished up 2 the same amount.

Yea, just seemed like false economy to me to do it like that...

My car is in bits still. Need to find some time and money to finish it off. Smooth the bumpers out and make the moulds for them to get them laid up. Need to buy bits for the interior which will be two seats and a steering wheel. Beginning to collect bits now for a special new engine.
