This is becoming popular in our area with more and more businesses signing up. With the price of fuel, this may interest some of you.

To cut it short, your employer buys you a bike at a greatly reduced price and you pay them back from your wages.

Good for short journeys and if you don't travel so much, being in the UK means that a lot of people are overweight and un-fit meaning that they will NOT cycle anywhere tbh
Like the idea tho

That would be fine, if we didn't need our cars to visit customers, and 90% of people have more than 20 mile drive in so would take 2 hours to get in and out.

I have thought about biking to work but theres a few things stopping me.
1) Would have to have a shower here and get changed meaning id have to get up about an hour or more earlier to make the journey then shower
2)Wear shirt + tie for work so how could I get my clothes here without being in a mess/sweaty?
They are the main ones, only 4 miles to work for me

See this is the only way I could think to do it, the only draw back is we dont have lockers and dont have anywhere to store work clothes.
Would love to cycle to work and save some serious cash, but I just cant figure out how

See thats the thing, I actually work for the recycling section and we are always looking at reducing emmisions etc. So I may be cheeky and give my boss that cycling flyer and ask about lockers etc.
We have a lock up for bikes etc as the police use it for there bike riding unit thing

Yeah, we do this at our work, depending on which company youre with, theu buy the bike, and then at the end of the year, you can buy it of them for something stupid like £11
Then there are other schemes, that you dont have to pay tax or vat on the bike, and end up getting about 60% off the price of the bike
