Yes, pretty well organised/laid on to say it was free. Good looking at the old 5 Turbos, Le Man and F1 cars plus the vintage cars. Good experience watching the F1 car too as I've never been to a race.
Silverstone itself is a dump though, walking over a cross over and there were bits of wood nailed to bits of wood keeping it together, gaffer tape over nails and sharp edges. There was no proper path to the seated stands and the floor was muddy.
Ecclestone is right to say they shouldn't be holding a world class event. Place is a shit hole.

it was at donnington last year when i went. Was really good there. Not been to silverstone before so cant comment on that

really enjoyed it! was a good day all round really. carbon-clad r5 turbo was really sweet.

Was really awesome, well worth the drive to get there.
Girlfriend really got into it too which was cool.
The guy in the 5 turbo wheel spinning made me laugh to then have the fire marshal escourt him round the last lap

Day was class. Some very good racing.
As said, Maxi 5 Turbos were ace drifting, got some ace photos at home.
Great day out, shame about the huge amounts of traffic trying to get home though - dread to think what it was like at Donny.

Was a cracking weekend all in.

Ended up with a Michelin race tyre - feck knows why
