nope, no doors are inter-changable..

the front on a 5door are shorter, to make the room for the rear doors

But they're completely different shapes. Look at the line on the right edge of the door, it goes a different way.

I suppose you could modify it to fit, but you couldn't literally take one off a 5 door and bolt it onto a 3 door. The back end of them are totally different shapes, but no reason a good bodyshop couldn't sort it.

Unfortunately they're the only two pics i could get with them from the side and the same way round

They are completely different. The 5 door is about 3 inches shorter.

If the door fitted a 3 door, it was off a 3 door.

No way in the world you would either fit it first time or be bothered modifying it to fit. The window is even different. Did your mate fabricate some extra glass in there as well?

Oh yeah, didn't think of the window being different He must have got a 3door window or something. With everything that you'd have to do to make it fit, why not just get one that's meant to fit instead of buying the wrong one and modifying it? Doesn't make much sense, really, if you ask me.

Also consider the amount of fabrication work required to change the curve from one direction to the other inside the door slam. It's not a flat bit of metal.
