Pease pudding is awful stuff, never seen it for sale down here. My missus is from Sunderland and always buys some when she's up there.

get pease pudding down here, used to sell it when i worked in a supermarket yonks ago

some woman asked me if we sold it, she had to repeat ''pease pudding'' 5 times because she kept pronouncing it ''piece pudding'' to me and i didn't have a clue what it was needless to say i didn't help her
