im geting a bit older and realising i want something faster. ive been looking at a astra mk3 gsi. im not too fond of the new astra, theyre nice but i prefer the gsi, i just love it.

this isnt a thread to draw attention to the sale, i just want some peoples opinions.

its a 1.4 sri and im looking at the gsi 2.0 or maybe even the turbo? either way its alot faster than mine.

Lovely car, go for it if it what you want, but you might regret selling a 55 plate to go so something around a L/J plate, with more miles.

i weighing up all the options about selling a newer car for an older one.

its a 53/53 plate astra so it wont be as old as that mate. oh and im 21

Ahh, you mean MK4 then. If your 21 then shouldnt be bad, lad at my work is 21 and has an 03 plate Arden Blue one, lovely cars, not that quick for a 2.0t though.

ah sorry must be mk4. compared to my corsa its gota be faster than it. its not all about the speed to be honest, just love the way they look. evry1s getting new astras and id rather have one of these

I agree with Ben, not old, only a year or so older than the Corsa. Interiors are mint! Really comfy. Get one!!

stick a 2ltr turbo in that or a 1.8 with a turbo conversion

guy round stoke has a 2.0 astra with a vxr turbo and that shifts pretty good

my bf has a astra sri 2.2 and it is alot faster than my 1.6 sport, the 2.0t is faster tho
