read somewhere that even if the cost of pretol to the UK was free, with all the tax and stuff we would still pay 70p a litre

Costs me nearly 75 whole English Pounds to fill mine up.
But, I don't care. I need it, so I'll buy it.

Their gallon is slightly smaller than ours.

Not that it makes much difference at those prices lol

I keep hearing that we could be paying £2 a litre by the end of the year.

Yes, and when we hit £2 a litre, the lorry drivers will strike and just stop causing this country to come to a complete standstill!

Like we said pow, every car enthusiast should hold a strike on motorways around the country travelling at 30mph constant from one end to the other of the motorway. Would make the whole country stop for a day !

Thing is, they are starting to shit themselves. They've announced that they are upping oil output from the north sea. Brown knows hes out so he is doing everything he can to hold on.

Personally I think he's a cunt

My car has only been used to do 16 miles a day for the past few months.

Use it to go to work, and thats it. Shopping I walk, up to my mums 3 miles away and I walk

Same here. Used to have a couple of long routes I would do when bored...not any more!!

I remember one time we went out for a Saturday afternoon drive....and ended up in Wales (I live near Portsmouth)...

I timed the trip home and we did it in 1hr37mins....good old Vtec yo!

what good would that do would just piss normal 9-5 people off and fuck up some peoples journeys.

would also mean that you have to pay for more petrol....
