quote: You are using Internet Explorer! We are still working on getting the site working 100% on IE, but this is currently low priority as only a very small percentage of our users use IE. In the meantime we reccomend you use Firefox.
Are you sure about this? As I run quite a big site and according to Google Analytics, 68% of visitors still use Internet Explorer and only 24% use Firefox..

You've lost the majority of people with a site that doesn't work in IE.

I think its ridiculous you dont cater for IE users..
Even though I have firefox, I still use IE as my primary browser.
Im sure a lot of people will be in the same boat as myself.

We launched the site yesterday and we're making usability for all browsers. These things take time though. Agreed it should've been done before launch though.

Good stuff dude, but no offence the site is a little naff - you need a listen live link rather than copy paste stuff. You should make it embedded (look at BBC Radio, Kiss, Galaxy etc). I wouldn't waste time about making the first page a blog style page, rather blast it with advertising for shows and graphic links etc. You should have another section that is easily accessible from the main page for the blog area. Plus, add some colour dude.
But cool stuff, im guessing the advertising is to cover some of the costs for hosting and media hosting? Being a little nosey, have you got your own servers for the streaming or are you paying for someone else to do it?
Also, sort out your 'ducking' on the mic, the compression is a little too much.....
cool stuff though

http://thlradio.com/listen
Huge image banner at top . Server for stream colocated in IPHouse (Our own machine)
Rest of points noted. Ta xx
Going good so far, Used to get about 400 listeners, about the 50 stage at the moment.

good stuff, in which case get rid of the stuff about doing it yourself - perhapps have the option of using different embedded players, media player something linux/mac based to cover majority of clients.
And i was blind as a bat about the listen thing, clicking listen should produce a popup with the web media player for playing. Within that have a link if need be.
Oh and IPHouse in the states? You doing the web hosting yourselves (same system?) or brought that else where?
Like i say good stuff, but a little clean up of the site, make it easier to read and make things are in your face for people to click etc - no, copy/paste stuff, a lot of people are too simple for shite like that
