Even parents are starting to think somethings going on if you do something with someone of the opposite sex
Iv got a few female mates but one very good mate, she has a boyfriend. I often go round to the flat to see them both or just play on xbox with him, Tonight me and danielle are goin the pub for some tea as she doesnt get out much with paying for the flat, Matthew said he wasnt fussed about coming.
Iv told me mum, dad and sister all at different times what im doin tonight and on each occasion the reply has been "What the reason for going for tea" or "As a date?"
Im like FFS cant people have makes of the opposite sex anymore??

I know what you mean, my 3 best friends are females, but I've grown up from toddler size with them so I don't see them that way, I've seen them all naked and not even a twitch, but one of them is good pals with my sister (Faye on here) and she does my head in with it.

All my best mates have been mostly male and ive never done a single thing with them 
Annoys the crap out of me when they get gf's and bin me off though
I like male mates you can ask them advice about men and they are honest plus they dont bitch like girls do!!
The people that think you are automatically up to something if your mates with the opposite sex have obviously never had the great kind of friendship that some of us are lucky to have

Im not arsed like, as danielle and her bf and my mates and they are sound like, Just made me laugh when even my mum dad and sister all questioned why i was goin for tea with here, I was like "to eat?"

I've got this lass at work that I get on with, if I mention her more than once in one day it's, ''Why do you keep mentioning her, do you like her?'' 
I wouldn't even dream of seeing out of work just as a mate, as that wouldn't go down well at all.

I get this all the time!! im amazingly good mates with my ex, shes my best female friend! and i have several other girl mates that i hang out with.. mum and sister are always implying something more sinister is going on

im very very good friends with my best mates g/f, people sometimes talk but fuk them, we have a laugh, so its cool, sometimes even top round her house, mates fine with it because he trusts her
