Camping who's been? I've taken a notion for it. Fancy getting Colin to cook my breakfast on a wee stove

Not sure about creepy crawlies and stuff like that tho

Stay in a hotel - hot running water, electricty and the small matter of bricks and bloody mortar!
Never ever seen the attraction of camping.

It's a brilliant laugh you'd enjoy it imo!

T in The Park isn't the same without the laugh you get in the campsite.

One night is enough for me, drink plenty of beer and you won't feel how uncomfortable you are

Love camping, go whenever i can, luckly my misses and all my mates like it to.

Make sure you take loads of layers for the evening, even if its warm in the day, as being warm is the difference between having a good time and wanting to go home.

I also take as big bag of green to smoke, but if thats not your thing grab some booze and youl love it

I've always hated the thought of camping, but my brother's just bought a 6 man tent and its given me the notion to give it a try

It would only be the two of us, don't fancy sharing tbh

Jade if you wanna go camping do it, its awesome. Group of us go every year and me and melissa try and go as often as we can if we don't go abroad. It can be as expensive or as cheap as you want. We went over the bank holiday just for 5 days and spent just under £20 thats not including the cost of camping and stuff tho.

This is our tent. Ours is quite big and can stand up in it no worries.

Check these out as well. Camping picys on facebook

This is probably a daft question but can you pitch a tent anywhere in the countryside (obviously not in someone's front garden) or do you need to go to campsites?

i love camping, spent about 20mights per year under canvas on average for the past 15 years!!

i love it, roughing it for a weekend enjoying the basic uncomplex food and sitting infront of an open fire and a can in my hand before going to bed - cons would be weather, but that should only be an issue if you have the wrong kit!

We started by going for one night with mates who borrowed us tiny tent. Melissa had never been before and loved it straight away thank fuck Then when we got back we got back we went and bought the tent you see and all the stuff. But its one of them hobbies you get better things the more times you go.

Oh and we have never had moggies or spider or anything like that inside the tent for the past 4 years we have been going. We going again when touring cars come to Oulton Park

i guess it would deppend. obviously i wouldnt in the middle of a crop field, or a field of cows, but a "public space" would be ok, i have seen people who have spent a night in the tent next to the river Thames before.....providing you dont take the mic in terms of your stay, damage/rubbish and behaviour should be fine!

We have rules tho - No phones, no gell for the boys, no straightners for girls Just adds to the fun.

if your wanting to go for a few days ,
i would highly recomend lochearnhead!!!

it aint toofar away just outside callender, but far enough to know your away from home,

cracking place and plenty places along the both sides of the loch to pitch up for a few days,
theres also a wee shop at the caravan site incase you forget anything you might need, and theres a few hotels and pubs along the road side incase you bottle it and decide you want a bed for the night!

http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/lochearnhead/lochearnhead/index.html

usually head up there twice a year with a group of us, for a good bevie and a small bit of fishing,
