Took my mate to pick up his new car today, MX5 RS, aparently its some ltd edition import jobbie . Standard its got carbon fibre recaro seats, fancy diff and BBS wheels etc

i dont really like it, but i saw this and i think it looks really smart!

If the top one is an import, shouldn't it have a square front numberplate?
Also, the 2nd one looks very smart. Not keen on the Irmscher splitter though 

tbh considering they are such good cars, I'd consider one, but it'd have to be a later one (not the new shape). Without driving, I reckon they'd be the best of both worlds i.e. performance and comfort.

I dont think imports have to have that wierd size, i think its an option that is legally alowed as loads of them have that shape where the original Japanese plate goes.

yeah, it was down the bottom of the M56 near wales on some random industrial estate. It was called something like classic car sales but everything there was an MX5 bar some beaten up crappy old MGB for about £15k
