I did one of each of the front running colours which were vaux smoke grey and a gloss black.


I think I am swaying towards black myself as the finish on them is better. Think rattle canning a metalic colour just doesnt look quite as it should. Although maybe after laqour it would look better. Another + for black is that it is more cost effective as I all ready have a big ass can of it in the shed

that's a tough one mate!

i like the way black looks so stealthy but i love the way the smoke grey looks almost standard and clean

the black makes tyres look faded and horrible

and that grey clashes with your car colour

Grey looks best out of the two but i still think white would look even better

They were a darker grey yesterday, then they dried lighter


Not sure whether a darker grey will still be a bit too much of the same colour. And if its much darker I might as well stick with black

High maintainance


I think white would look good but I am going to keep it a bit more subtle to go with the rest of the car that is all standard looking
