my mates got a 1.1 pug hes had the head skimmed and a de cat and he keeps up with a few 1.6s and can beat 1.4s lol

funny people should mock but my mate had a decatted 1.1 saxo and could keep with the occasional 1.4 and they WERE trying; power to weight as the thread says. Saxos weigh nothing

There are a few different kinds of 1.4 mate....I'd imagine it could keep up with my maws 1.4 Vauxhall Meriva

there isn't actuall much power difference in 300cc though is there? 1.0 12v corsa will only have about 10bhp less than a 1.2 16v corsa which in real world driving terms is bugger all
