unless your planning spending quite a lot of money on coilovers just stick with a decent fixed rate kit, you wont notice any difference.

im not sure about him not noticing any difference, the blistein fixed kit is meant to be better than the spax kit and alot of the lads on here say it was alot better with bumps in the road, and iv only read good things about gaz and coilovers, so they must be better

i've had springs with standard shocks, spax fixed rate and now spax coilovers on mine, i think it handdles the best on coilies but it is rock hard.
the difference from the fixed rate kit was very noticible in how hard you can set them and the car is solid as a rock. the main reason i got them though was to lower it more

speak to dave a, they are meant to be good, but there over £300 so you might be better off with the half brand new gaz coilovers on here for 380

and you could adjust the height to what you want

i think the fixed kit are best for handling but obviously coilovers are best for lowering i had a set of gmax -60mm kit on my old 1.4 and it handled a treat with 2 strut braces
