Right, whenever I buy shirts, usually they're too big, so I end up getting a 'Small' Shirt, that's fitted. Otherwise I find they're really really baggy on me.

Today I was trying to buy a tux shirt for a summer ball thing I've got coming up, but every one I found was massive! Like the smallest I think anywhere did was a 36 inch chest? and most were like 38-42 inch chests

I don't understand this though, I don't class myself particularly small or slim, I'm just normal, yet I couldn't find one small enough for me that didn't look like I was just wearing a baggy sack.

What do people like corsa_tomtom, Butler, dave17 etc, the really skinny runts off here do about this sort of thing? surely you can't find anything that fits you correctly?

I bet if I did find a really slim one, it'd be far too short on me

I just got this tux shirt from marks + spencer. All the suit stores tux shirts were massive, like minimum 38 inch chest +

Annoyingly though I thought it said £15, took it to the till and she was like £35 please ... ffs £35 for a piece of shit I don't even want to wear.

Whats worse I tried it on and it's still massive, it's the smallest they sell and smaller than anywhere else. Wish I could just wear one of my 'work' style shirts, I wore on placement, or even better one of my 'going out' style shirts. feel like such a twat in a tux and bow tie.

My Tux shirt is a bit on the baggy side, I only went to Moss though. Couldn't be arsed trying to find any better, I don't think they are supposed to be 'fitted' though.

If it's too loose some creative tucking in does the job.

Hasn't really got anything to do with the chest size etc. normally a formal shirt's dimesions will be dictated by the size of your neck. So if your a little shorter and stocky you'll always have problems buying decent shirts.

I tend to go here for my shirts as the actually do slim fit shirts which seem to solve the problem for me

i take it your naturally really 'petite' then? Have you tried a Prom type shop? Maybe rent one just for the night, there bound to have your size?

Edit - by prom type shop, i meant a shop where you would get your prom dress/suit from. cant think of the propper name.
