When I come to a stand still with the engine still running the heaters eventually go cold after about 60 secs, whats my problem? Pain in the hoop

Air lock? Try bleeding the cooling system

Take cap off the coolant tank when cold.
Leave car running until about 102 degrees.
Turn off, water will bubble over.
Leave to cool then top up to proper level.

That should rid any air locks.
