finally got the engine running as i was on about in a previous post but isnt running right at all and the engine management light is on noticed that there is no pipe goin to the lil black box infront of the header tank where would the pipe be as i carnt find any pipes that arnt connected to anything
p.s is any1 lives in the borehamwood area in hertforshire that has a 1.6 sport would be very greatfull if they could spare sum time and pop down so i could compare all the pipes to theres thanks chaps

That sounds like the MAP sensor, which is needed for the ECU plus if its unpugged means you have an air leak as well

its pluged in but no pipe goin to it and carnt seem to find 1 for it and also where the green and yellow vacaum pipes connect to is sucking air is the correct as u can hear it

yeah thats what I meant a hose not plugged in means air leak a running crap.
They all conect to the top hal o the inlet just above the throttle body.
I think the yellow and green ones to to the brake servo pipe and the left hamd corner infront of the suspension mount.
One of my powerboxes makes all this a lot simpler
