Probably not, going to happen and if I knew I'd constantly be waiting for it to happen. Not that I'd know as once you're dead thats it.

True, but if you was going to die in 10 years and not know, there would probably be soo many thing you would want to do but you wouldn't get the chance, but if you did know..you could make the most of what time you had left.

Good point, I suppose you could plan for the time you had left. This is all assuming you will die within a couple of years then as if you had 10 years you have plenty of time to travel the world, buy a fancy car, learn something etc.

That would be the bad side, getting told its in 2 weeks rather than 40 years recent family deaths got me thinking, hence the random thread.
