I'm looking at an astra sport tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any experience of the 1.8 16v engine in it?

I'm assuming its the Z18XE? Is that the same as in the Corsa C?

Anyhow, its done 95,000 so was wondering if, with sufficient service history it would have plenty of life left in it? Also, are there any major things I should look out for?

check the rear springs. quite common for snapping. Just replaced a set thisafternoon on my mates astra g

Make sure the Cambelt has been done, obvious service history. They are pretty good otherwise, tend to use quite a bit of oil.
