what are peoples views on this.... sort of thing im looking at getting, £500 more on insurance tho....

i have also been looking at the 318ci
anyone got any info on why i should spend that bit extra for the 323?

any help please!

oh sorry 500quid more insurance... 1900 fc at 18 is not bad tbh....

what good forums are there out ther?

i hear there 7.7 for 0-60 which is quick too, same as my pug i think....

318 = 4 pot....

323 is a detuned 2.5 S6... probably makes aorund 190-200bhp so 7.7 sounds about right

The 328's in the e36's only made 200 bhp, not sure if they developed a completely different engine in the e46's though.

yeh been driving the gti for 2 weeks, i plan to keep it for the summer, but its a real toy and i know im just guna spend thousands on it, so why not go a bit upmarket? i duno theres just something i love about the e46 coupe, was thinking of getting the 316 saloon instead of the gti, didnt know i could insure the 323 for a cheepish price

Not sure they even made a 323/328 E46 did they? I thought by the E46s they were 318, 320, 325, 330

I assumed we were talking E36s

Nah they did 323's and 328's when the e46 first came out, my mate had a 323.

They stopped making them before the facelift (the new front likes face lift changing you mean)? The 328 may have been replaced by the 330ci

323's are 170 and 325's are 190brake arent they? i fancy a 325i next.

Yeah front face lifts... and yeah your probs right as the 328 figures match the 330 it would seem

The 330's are significantly quicker iirc rob, they are about 260bhp iirc?

No idea, the current 335's are around 300 amd the 325s are 200 so would make sense to have a mid-range

I ahd meant as in the 330 and 328 match up in temrs of spec and figures for it to have replaced, not just a name change like

2001 ish :S New headlights and new friont bumeprs at elast... niot sure what else other than new namign conventions

2004 the big face lift was, led rear lights, diff bumpers etc and headlights.

One in 2002 & another in 2004.

Im still hankering after a 330 Convertible for some reason (Latest stint of good weather?) but think i'll aim towards an older M3 with no Telly for my next car
