When I started (August 1998), I think I was paying £16, then £17 after about 3 months then the last few weeks went up to £18 as he bought a new car

Doubles were always £32

BUT this is when petrol was like 67p a litre lol, I dread to think the cost these days, esp with a company liek AA etc, mine was an Indy

I started learning last year in january and was 26 an hour. luckily i only had 13 hours, but he was recommended and had a 99% pass rate first time. I think he charges about £29 an hour now, but everyone i have sent to him have also passed first time after very few lessons.

I think location and price of fuel counts towars the overall cost.
