Need to get a helmet for my test/training as the one they supply is shit and smells . Now i want to spend good money on one that will last me a while upto 350 quid.
Narrowed down to two makes Arai and Shoei.
Really these:
Shoe XR-1000 - Rogue

Like the design for some reason.

Arai Chaser Camouflage Silver

Which one would be the best to go for, everyone tells me to go for Arai - but the Shoei has a more asthetic shape to it imo.

Shoei looks badass, and I prefer the way it flairs at the back

Always had an Arai myself. Just prefer the fit over anything else.

They say your either an Arai or Shoei person as the fit is completely different, go into the shops and try a couple on.
See if you can get one with removable and washable lining....
Personally I am an Arai man and am on my third, but i got the missus a Shoei XR 1000 and am really pleased with the quality.....

Yea, tried a few on today. The Arai is a very comfortable fit but i thought the Shoei was just as comfortable (and slightly better looking). Mentioned the Arai came with a 5 year guarantee where they would x-ray your helmt for free if you dropped it

I have an AGV Airtech just like the pic below. Always had AGV lids and can't reccomend them them enough. If they're good enough for The Doctor (Valentino Rossi), they're good enough for me!

i'll probably be buying a lid this year. Have a crappy plastic £40 one at the mo which i used while i was 16 and only able to do 33mph.
Arai and Shoei look great, but seem a little overpriced, so i think i'll be looking at AGV and Shark.

I have the same, just have a very mildly smoked visor; not full on black tinted one
