My current car hasnt had a proper clean, probably in a few years and its got a big build up of tar near the arches.

Best thing to remove it?

ive got tar down my drivers side and on the boot. Going to have a go with that AutoGlym tar remover. Let me know what its like

ive used it in the past and i cant complain as it does the job...

got a few little specks across from my arches at the mo so going to get me some more soon

use auto glym tar remover then megs clay bar to get rid of the really stubborn bits and make it smooth!

Will damage your paint though if you're just polishing it out, best off using something that will dissolve or soften it first.

Tardis or autoglym tar remover then a claybar, all you'd do is create more work and waste the clay bar quicker if you just use that.
