went to the scrap metal place today to weigh in some old gearboxes and engines and parts etc and went over to the car stacks which are ready to be crushed or what ever and noticed a nova gsi there so we asked if we could have a few parts off it which were mainly plastic so had no value in scrap and they said yeh and took it down off the stacks for us so we could strip it..
off it we had full gsi kit, spoiler, apex lowering kit(shocks and springs), strut brace, astra digital dash, power boost valve, green samco hoses, gsi breaks, gsi radiator, smoked rear lights, 1.6 gsi head and cam carrier etc, gsi driveshafts, few interrior parts..
i think thats it but all that for free was great lol

doubt that it was stolen as they wont take cars for scrap unless you provide a log book with i.d for proof

you get the dashboard by any chance ??
does the digi dash have a fully working transducer and loom ?

didnt take the dashboard no.. digidash has got all the wires and loomb needed but i think i mite have a go at fitting it to my corsa lol

They do, If its stolen or recovered or whatever they crush them.

or you ring a guy out the paper and tell him you have a car to crush, he comes round picks it up no questions asked and hey presto, that nice stolen car is gone off your drive

actually come to think of it, all the locks were mint, no sign of a break in and the steering collum and everything was mint aswel so i think it was just scrapped and the guy who scrapped it didnt know any parts left on the car had any value maybe

I nearly did, full calibra leather interior, good nick (drivers seat not knackered) all of it was chucked in the back with just the front seats bolted in, but some cunt had slashed all the leather, on the back of the seats .
and someone had nicked the c20let out of it.

I found a corsa B rear interior light a black carpet and some rev counter clocks for £20
I sold the carpet with the car so I made newt on that
I sold the clocks for £40 and the rear interior light for £18
