Do you need to take the car to Vauxhall. Melissa received a letter today saying her ABS thingy needs sorting, but we work till 5 and the next 2 weekends are out of the queston.

It's the C abs recall though, it's not urgent so your morning off work would have been wasted.

Is she driving it long distances?

If not, I wouldnt worry that much...

The expiry on the work will be years mate, my B had a recall that was 3 years old done when I had it.

No traction control its a C 1.2sxi+. She drives from Wigan to Manchester and back everyday.

So basically it can wait then there is no rush??

I got the recall letter today for my sxi+, i'm not rushing for mine as i'm on holiday next week and the week after that i'm having new brakes put on the old girl.

For anyone saying not to rush you must be daft.. I work for vauxhall in sales and our car parks full of C's in for there recalls just now.. We've seen a few that have gone up in smoke so I would be getting it in asap..

Theres no rush if it doesnt go up in smoke but theres plenty rush if your stuck in a burning car...

I don't know its melissa's you see and she leaves before 7 for work in a morning and only gets back about 6ish. Will have to ring them tomoz me thinks.
