how many mpg do you get out of it
the earlier y17dt, not the common rail one
parkers say 60mpg......

do you have any idea what is wrong warren, reckon you could fix it easy/cheap enough?? Also missing one front fog and one broken rear fog but all together looks like a good buy

Can get a Steinmetz remap for the DTi engine 
I would imagine you get pretty good fuel economy, better than a petrol, especially if you want some pulling power.
My 12v does 47mpg but depends what you want, best of the both worlds would be the 1.7 DTi.

I've just gpot my Girlfriend a 56 plate 1.3CDTi C.. Awesome wee cars, £35 a year to tax and they do funny mpg...
1.7's are good but it would have to be a commonrail one for me...
