drop a 1.7td engine out of a cavalier/astra there is a guide on here in diesel tuning on how to turn the boost up. Pretty pokey once done

Yep thats what i'm going to do. You can pick one up on the bay for about £100, i once saw a whole unit go for £42.

I had one, owned it for 40 days got fed up with it and bought a 1.6 sport.

Don't waste your money on trying to tune a 55bhp non turbo diesel. Engine transplant or new car is the only way

fit a TD engine, the difference straight away will be amazing.

currently i drive a stripped out corsa b with a 1.5td isuzu lump with the boost turned up to about 17psi, i would say its on par with a 1.6gsi with the added fact i get 35mpg+ regardless of how its driven
