Corsa with EML and a 3,000rpm idle

What would cause this, AFM?!

I know on my XE the AFM was dodgy and idle was stupidly high and revved eratically!

Looking at a cheap run about 1.4 sport with the above problem, just wondering if it could be as simple as the AFM?!

my 1.6 is doing this, sometimes the idle is to low and cuts out, is a basterd to idle when cold. ive replaced my icv with a spare one and is still doing it, maybe a dodgy icv?

Marc, replace the CTS - mine did that, and ended up using shitloads of fuel and killing my cat

If I buy it and you still have the ICV

Would much rather it be ICV than having to find an air leak but either way could be cheap enough fixes!

Shall have to go have a look at it this week

Whats a CTS ? Coolant temp sensor ?

would that cause the car to use too much fuel ?

Yea, CTS is coolant temperature sensor, change that first off - was about £16 from Vauxhall I think, and takes 5 minutes with a spanner.

Probably even cheaper from AutoVaux as well.
