is their a guide to how to make them as i want to but i know i would balls it up some how haha

get a peice of MDF
lay your boot carpet on it
draw around carpet
cut out round the line with a jigsaw

nice one mate how much acoustic carpet will i need as i want it to look nice and tidy

I would make it slightly smaller than the carpet, then you can carefully wrap the carpet around the edges for a neater finish.

Will need slicing & trimming for this to look good though.

Measure your boot carpet & add a bit on either direction, thats what you will need.
