My mate Stu has his new toy.

I posted before but got the spec wrong.

B Reg Capri, with Gaz coil-overs, TVR Chimaira V8, fully stripped and fully caged interior with fuel/battery cut off, independent switch for fuel pump, 3.5 inch system with £600 manifolds (forget the name), high lift cames and 4 pot carbs.

Fuel tank has also been relocated to the boot inside.

Tis MINT with no rust whatsoever, engine has covered 20,000 miles.

Vid for noise....

i eckon if satan had a voice, a tvr exhaust note is what would be heard if he were to speak.

to me, it's the most hardcore, outrageous and ridiculous noise ever - and i love it, more than any ferrari or mclaren note

we embarressed a ferrari owner. he was by us revving his engine in his yellow piece of poo thinking he was the dogs, and everyone in the street was staring his way.

Only after a few minutes did we both realise they were all staring at the capri and talking about it as it sat there popping on idle

It commands a lot of respect from older drivers - even BMW drivers!

All 3 times we've filled up todaym at least 2/3 people have all come over to talk to us about it, and plenty of tumbs up from people on the motorway.

Is a grinning machine!

I'd rather have the yellow "piece of poo" Ferrari that probably was the dogs compared to a orange 1985 Ford Capri that has always been ugly.

But horses for courses I suppose.
