Hey guys just got back from the ring...all europes roads are amazing!! so smooth and the people know how to drive on them. Its Thursday and ive just recovered haha, think i had sun stoke it was really hot.
Went with RTOC (renault turbo owners club) if anyone knows of it...anyway ill get some pics up when photobucket calms down

AMAZING TIME!! now selling the corsa to get a 106 gti and prep it for october/next year...gonna get some track action

the black r5 runs a 1.8 T from golf/seat... its at about 250/280bhp and yes he was chasing porchese all day...and staying with them
the r5 we went in was white one with strips down it...100% standard spec, was pretty cool round the track aswell even on standard ride height ermmm the omega was ex cop car v6 jobbie...even had a blue light on it till the belguim police were notified...
pulls over omega...

went with 2 clio v6s aswell...great cars! the sound of the convoy was amazing...pretty much every car on the petrol station pic was in convoy...more on the way there aswell

ermmm set off from birmingham on friday nite...slept in ashford tesco till 7am on saturday...no one turned up... relised we were at the wrong one...got to the hotel on saturday evening about 4/5ish...went on the ring on sunday...come back on monday
think he did...it was the general public that had complained...convoy was split up a few times so didnt see it lol...super super fun.
AND... for anyone that says renault 5 turbos are unreliable...
ours went 1200 plus in this time, with 25 degree plus temps...around the track and cruising at 90mph and never over heated, broken down etc etc the whole time

Ive only ever seen one before a white one it was on ebay and with the roof down actually looked good imo.
and regarding headgaskets,one of my brothers mates has had a 5 turbo 6 years now and he hasnt blown a gasket yet,first thing he did when he bought it was a brand new rad, and a seperate switch for the fan and hes never had a problem with it.

my mate did the same at first run a copper core rad...didnt fit right and ended up fowling tube...and dropped his coolant...so he went and brought a new standard one from renault...and also thermostat and never had a single problem..all they really need is the coolant dropped every few years and they are sound...ace cars...starting to love them...standard are great only get problems when u start turning up the boost to have fun

haha nope not a single break down mate...this pic was taken before we went on track...decided to just check the gearbox oil...was abit low so we pulled up down the road and topped up...was all good...not one problem!
oh and v6 o yep! the sound is lovely
