Hey guys, few of my mates booked a holiday for 12th till 26th in Magaluff..

One hasnt got his passport and hasnt even had the letter through to tell him his interview date yet.. anyone know if he gets his passport straigth after the interview ? as ill be taking his place if he doesnt

It'll take a few weeks to be delivered and for admin stuff. Thats even if its agreed there and then. May take longer.

This is probably a daft question, but do you need a passport to fly from Scotland to England?

Technically photographic id should be enough for the whole of Europe, airlines dictate their own individual policy however AFAIK so best checking with however you've booked with.

0871 434 9061 is your friend

You can get emergency 1 day one's and fast trak 1 week one's both cost more i think.

Yeah Afaik to travel in the EU you don't need a passport, some airlines have it as a must however.

Yes, but only as its the only form of ID airlines take to check you in and to get through security.

i flew form aberdeen to gatwick last month and only had to show drivers lisence. that was with flybe, not sure if other airlines are different?

Just photographic ID for Scotland to Enland, no passport needed.
On the subject of changing old passports i got my new one back in 4 days a few weeks ago.
