Just Kidding, went over to the bank and that recipt was hanging out the machine..someone is a weathly boy

Once got a statement that said I had £450,000 in there, and then had spent the same amount a few days later.
Turned out I had paid a cheque in for £4500 or something like that and whoever put it in cocked up and I ended up richer for a few days

It is in banks up here when you get a printout, might be regional differences?
Any statement or reciept i've ever got states 500-whatever i've just lifted as available balance. On screen is different though.

On my Internet banking I was waiting for a couple of grand to clear on the PVS tickets (paid by cheques). My balance was the total but my ava balance was only the money that had cleared.

Yeah.
Online and on those print outs are different.
Ive got well than my available balance in my account as Im only allowed £500 in any 24hrs from a cashpoint.

Whenever I take cahs out it tells me my available balance, i.e that at which i can get at... not how much Im allowed to take out that day As said, maybe bank/regional differences... either way, agreed with your 2nd point... who leaves 1.5m in a Barclays Current A/c
